The thing is parliament got so much more done when they thought there would be no extension, then someone upset the apple cart and said, ‘no, Boris should ask for an extension’. Which does not mean a extension will be granted by the E.U.
Boris has applied for an extension like parliament asked him to, but then wrote a second letter asking the E.U. not to grant it.
The people of this country, like Boris has said, want to get on with our lives, for parliament to agree and we move ahead, or there’s a no-deal and we move ahead. How shitty the shit-storm gets is up to them.
I don't even like Boris, but right now, he's the best of the lot.

Ye’, I don’t like Boris but he’s trying to get it over and done with. Between the ruddy Lib Dems, Labour, Conservative, SNP, DUP, etc... they are stalling, stalling for what, stalling in hope everyone forgets. Let’s get it over and done with so we can move on.
I’d like another referendum.
But then it still depends on what the wording is. Will it be ‘do you wish to cancel Brexit’ , or simply be a vote on the deal or a no-deal Brexit.

the only way for the leave camp to finally shut up is for a no deal. As soon as may had made the main points last summer , you had the ERG moving the goalposts, pushing for No deal. . It would be economically distructive, but thre would be no more “if we only went for a hard brexit”

the UK was never part of schengen, and with no-deal off the table there won’t be any aircraft rescrictions.

Never realized that. I always figured that since I could freely go between the UK and EU with an American passport they were apart of it.

the schengen part isn’t that important for a tourist travel and isnt that relevant to the second half of my statement . The bigger issue is in the event of NO deal, a shit load of restrictions would have been placed on the number of comerc i al flights.

This was later updated that they put a cap on the number of flights, but due to a number of commercial issues (employment, payments etc) it still would meant travel be a shitshow.

The US has an agreement with Schengen countries that allow us to stay 90 days without a visa. I assumed that’s why I could travel to the UK without a visa, but you informed me it’s because we have a separate agreement with them, so yeah, not a big deal.
